What is considered lightweight furniture?
We move sofas, chairs, end tables and dining room furniture.
We DO NOT move china cabinets, bookcases, pianos, dressers, or any
electronic equipment such as TV's, VCR's or computers.
Do you offer steam cleaning?
We offer both steam cleaning and the non-residue dry foam method
at the same price. In most cases we recommend the non-residue dry
foam method because it doesn't soak the carpet or pad with water
and it won't leave any sticky or oily residue behind. So, your
carpet dries faster and stays cleaner longer.
Do you do carpet repair?
Yes we do. We have several technicians that have been trained to
do all forms of flooring installation, patch and stretch work.
Because there are so many different variables that can effect
repairs (i.e. seams, doorways, condition of tack strip, condition
of carpet, etc.) we will have a technician look at the area at the
time of cleaning, then he can give you an estimate and tell you
exactly what needs to be done. If you decide to have the repair
done, he can do it before he starts your carpet cleaning.
What cleaning method do you suggest for Berber carpet?
The non-residue dry foam method
of cleaning is safe for all carpet types and will do a great job
of cleaning without the lengthy dying time and sticky residues.
What do you do for pet or dye stains?
We can remove them with special treatments at an extra charge. The
technician can give an estimate at the time of cleaning and the
price will depend on the amount of damage.
Will the technician come in and try to sell me a bunch of stuff?
The price you are quoted includes a five step process, and the only
way the price will change is if YOU DECIDE you want the technician
to do more work!!!

How do fiber protectors work?
When professionally applied, fiber protectors provide an effective
protective treatment by surrounding each carpet fiber with an
invisible shield. This gives you extra time to clean up spills
before they are absorbed into the carpet fiber.
How long will the protection last?
How long protection will last depends primarily on how much use the
protected area receives and how well it is cared for. It is
recommended that a professional application of fiber protector be
applied after each cleaning of all carpet and fabric types, even
those with built-in soil and stain protection.
Are your fiber protectors safe for my children and pets?
Yes, all of our fiber protectors are completely safe for your
family and your pets.
Will fiber protectors waterproof my carpet and upholstery?
Protectors are not intended to be used as a waterproofing agent.
However, they will provide improved resistance to water-based
substances.
Why don’t spills bead up on protected fibers?
Some fibers may not exhibit the beading characteristic typically
linked to fiber protection. This can be caused by spaces between
loosely woven carpet pile. This does not affect the stain and soil
resistance and liquids can be easily blotted up even if it does
not bead up.

Do you offer fabric protectors?
Yes, all of our technicians carry a full line of chemicals on
their truck.
What do you do for pet or dye stains?
We can remove them with special treatments at an extra charge. The
technician can give an estimate at the time of cleaning and the
price will depend on the amount of damage.
What is the difference in natural and synthetic fabrics?
Natural fabrics: cotton, silk, Hatian cotton, etc. These fabrics must be
color locked and cleaned with a solvent based cleaner by a trained
professional or the colors will bleed, the upholstery will brown
or yellow, etc. That is why natural fibers are more expensive to
clean than synthetic.
Synthetic fabrics:
polyester, Herculean, denim, etc. These materials are more durable than
natural fibers and can be cleaned with a water based cleaner in
most cases.
Do you do any upholstery repair?
No.

How often should residential HVAC systems be cleaned?
Frequency of cleaning depends on
several factors, not the least of which is the preference of the
homeowner. Some things that may lead a homeowner to consider more
frequent cleaning include: Smokers in the household, pets that
shed high amounts of hair and dander, water contamination or
damage to the home or HVAC system, residents with allergies or
asthma who might benefit from reduction in the amount of indoor
air pollutants in the home's HVAC system, after home renovations
or remodeling and prior to occupancy of a new home.
What is the normal price range for the air duct cleaning service?
The EPA says that duct cleaning services typically, but not
always, range from $450 to $1,000 per heating and cooling systems,
depending on the services offered, the size of the systems,
climatic region and the level of contamination and type of duct
material. Consumers should beware of "blow-and-go" air duct
cleaning companies. These companies often charge a nominal fee and
do a poor job of cleaning the system.
How long should it take to clean a typical residential HVAC system?
There are a variety of factors
that can affect the time needed to clean a residential HVAC
system, including type of home and accessibility of the ductwork.
A typical three or four bedroom home will require 1-1/2 to 3 hours
for cleaning.
How can we determine if the HVAC system cleaning was effective?
The best way to determine if the
HVAC system cleaning was effective is to perform a visual
inspection of the system before and after the cleaning. If any
dust or debris can be seen during the visual inspection, the
system should not be considered cleaned.
Are there any health benefits
that come from HVAC system cleaning?
Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems have
been shown to act as a collection source for a variety of
contaminants that have the potential to affect health, such as
mold, fungi, bacteria and very small particles of dust. The
removal of such contaminants from the HVAC system and home should
be considered as one component in an overall plan to improve
indoor air quality
Will HVAC system cleaning reduce our home energy bills?
Research by the United States
Environmental Protection Agency has demonstrated that HVAC system
cleaning may allow systems to run more efficiently by removing
debris from sensitive mechanical components. Clean, efficient
systems are less likely to break down, have a longer life span and
generally operate more efficiently than dirty systems. Therefore,
we highly recommend the cleaning of your systems air handler at
the same time as the vent cleaning. The technician deep cleans, by
hand, everything they can physically get at, including (where
applicable) the blower, squirrel cage, coils and condensation pan.
This can reduce your heating and cooling bill by as much as 25%.
What are sanitizers and why should they be used?
Another valuable service we offer
to our customers after the HVAC system has been cleaned is an
anti-microbial fogging. The product we use is an EPA registered
Bacteriostat, Fungistat, Germistat, and All-purpose Deodorizer
designed specifically for the HVAC industry. The sanitizer will
help prevent contamination re-growth by killing germs, bacteria,
and fungus in the ductwork. Along with controlling the growth of
microorganisms, it also eliminates the unpleasant odors that are a
result of this microbial growth. Because 80% of our clients have
either allergy or respiratory problems, we use a product that is
used by many hospitals and nursing homes. After the vents and air
handler have been thoroughly cleaned the technician will apply the
anti-microbial to each vent and return with an electric fogger,
leaving behind a fresh scent.
